Tsethang / Lhasa 5 Days
ITINERARY:-
Day 01:- Arrive Gongkar airport, drive to Tsethang, rest in the afternoon to get acclimatized.
Drive to Tsethang from Gongkar airport, which is about 100 km and it will take one and half hours on the
way.
Day 02:- Tsethang / Yumbu Lagang / Traduk Temple / the tombs of Tibetan Kings.
After breakfast drive to the tombs of Tibetan Kings located in Chongye County. It includes the tombs
from the 29th to 40th Tsenpo and their ministers and imperial concubines. In the afternoon, visit Yumbu
Lagang, the first palace in Tibet, and Traduk Temple, the earliest temple in Tibet.
Day 03:- Tsethang / Samye Monastery/ Lhasa
After breakfast drive to Samye, which is the first monastery in possession of the three treasures: Buddha,
Dharma and Sangha, built in 762 AD. After visiting this palace, drive back to Lhasa. Enjoy seeing the
villages
Tibetan feature and Yarlung Tsangpo River, the highest river in the world.
Day 04:- Potala Palace / Jokhang Temple / Barkhor Street
After breakfast, visit Potala Palace, which is the highest palace, built on the Red Hill. After lunch visit
Jokhang Temple built in the 7th century and the free market of the Barkhor Street.
Day 05:- Transfer to the airport.
