Lhasa / Nyingtri 4 Nights and 5 Days
ITINERARY:-
Day 01:- Arrive to Gongkar airport, rest in the afternoon to get acclimatized. It is about 100 km from Gongkar
airport to Lhasa and it will take you one and half hours on the way, you may enjoy seeing villages with d
istinctive Tibetan features and the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the highest river in the world.
Day 02:- Potala Palace / Jokhang Temple / Barkhor Street in Lhasa
After breakfast visit Potala Palace, which is the highest palace in the world, built on the Red Hill.
After lunch visit Jokhang Temple built in the 7th century and the free market of Barkhor Street.
Day 03:- Lhasa / Baksum Tso / Nyingtri;
After breakfast you will go by bus to enjoy sightseeing along the Nyangchu Valley, its primitive forest,
evergreen mountains and clear water. After lunch visit Baksum Tso Lake, which is called “the Jiuzhai Gou
valley in Tibet”.
Day 04:- Nyingtri / Lhasa
After breakfast visit large Cypress Nature Reserve. A big cypress tree called “ the Sacred Cypress” by
local people is about 46 m in height. According to determination, it is 2000-2500 years old, and then
you’ll visit Lamaling Monastery.
Day 05:- Transfer to the airport.
