Lhasa / Namtso / Yangpachen Geothermal Field 6 Days
ITINERARY:-
Day 01:- Arrive to Gongkar airport, rest in the afternoon to get acclimatized.
Day 02:- Potala Palace / Jokhang Temple / Barkhor Street in Lhasa
After breakfast visit Potala Palace, which is the highest the palace in the world built on the Red Hill.
After lunch visit Jokhang temple built in the 7th century and the free market of Barkhor Street.
Day 03:- Drepung Monastery / the Sera Monastery / Norbu Lingka
After breakfast visit Drepung, the biggest monastery in Tibet. In the afternoon visit Norbu Longka,
literally “jewel garden” which is the summer palalce of Dalai Lamas, and Sera Monastery.
Day 04:- Lhasa / Namtso
After breakfast by bus to Namtso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet as named “the Sky Lake”,
the highest lake in the world. En route you may also enjoy the scenery of north Tibet.
Day 05:- Namtso / Yangpachen geothermal field / Lhasa
After breakfast visit Yangpachen geothermal field, the most famous one in Tibet, and also visit Yangpachen
Geothermal Power Station there, and return to Lhasa in the afternoon.
Day 06:- Transfer to the airport.
